Ők ugyanis annyira nem akartak megválni hathónapos kölyökmacskájuktól, hogy inkább bőröndbe csomagolva adták fel a pennsylvaniai Erie Nemzetközi Repülőterén - írja a People magazin a GoErie cikkére hivatkozva.

Az eset még újév napján történt, a Közlekedés Biztonsági Hatóság ellenőre a szokásos csomag-átvilágításosa procedúra során vette észre az állatot. A reptéri rendőrség az állat két 21 éves gazdáját a helyszínen felelősségre vonta, az ügy bíróságra került, a macska életének veszélyeztetése miatt komoly bírságra számíthatnak, az állatot pedig átmenetileg egy pennsylvaniai menhelyen helyezték el.
